Woven object
Each piece is hand woven and unique.
Wesen (ongoing)
In this series, I play with different associations of the term Wesen. On the one hand, it refers to a living being. Something that cannot be described in more detail. Something strange or never seen before. Something that does not yet have a name.
On the other hand, the being is also the inside of a person and describes who someone is, their character.
Both approaches are reflected in the individual works of the ongoing series.
Sculptural weaving, polypropylene and rubber cord.

Landschaften (2021)
Landschaften is a series of works that deals with shapes and structures within different densities in the woven structure and its dissolution.
Each fabric was processed onto a lightweight foam board. The back is covered with black linen and has a wooden strip for hanging.

l02 – 31 x 40 x 2,5 cm

Geographie (2021)
This series was an attempt to deal with inner landscape images. Each work stands as a metaphor for a world of memory, an inscription in the being. The visualization of this series was a disclosure, a representation of individual layers and levels. Elements of experience are exposed and made visible, so to speak.
Each piece is fixed on mount board and framed in a white frame.
g01 – 50 x 60 x 5 cm
g02 – 50 x 60 x 5 cm
g03 – 50 x 60 x 5 cm
g04 – 40 x 50 x 5 cm
Illustration (2020)
The possibility of the limit of decomposition in weaving was explored here. The idea of storytelling is a very strong aspect. In the work you can see maybe a landscape, emotion, a moment slightly moving from one second to another one. The visual power of yarns combined to each other opens an emotional way of starting a story in your mind.

Melt (2020)
When Melt came off the loom the idea of solid structure next to very open and loose spaces got visible. They melt into each other, yarn floats out of the rectangular frame.
This artwork was mentioned in New York Textile Month – Talking Textiles (2020).
