Wesen 

In the ongoing series “Wesen”, the artist deals with the various associations that point to this term. “Wesen” deals with the essential, life forms, character and phenomena. Thus, this series points to (mostly) abstract ideas that are explored through the respective observation.

These sculptural weaves are created on a specially designed hand-weaving loom and take their shape through the process.
